Parameters and options
[kulemba source]To link more than one page, type the intended wording in wikified form:

This can also be used to provide more information, such as when an old essay has been replaced by something more important:
the guideline Wikipedia:Fringe theories
This Wikipedia page has been superseded by Wikipedia:Use common sense and Wikipedia:There's no common sense, and it is retained primarily for historical interest. |
To include a shortcut, add a "shortcut" parameter.
For related Wikipedia header templates see Template messages/Project namespace.
To include the date when the page was superseded, use |date=
a.k.a. |since=
a.k.a. |asof=
a.k.a. |last=
, using any sane date format:

or

or

etc. The first of these examples generates:
This Wikipedia page has been superseded by Wikipedia:Notability (since 25 October 2008), and it is retained primarily for historical interest. |
