Simple usage[kulemba source]

  1. {{Storm path}} uses a left-aligned thumbnail image with the file name determined from the name of the article ("PAGENAME" track.png)
  2. {{Storm path|filename}} uses a left-aligned thumbnail image with the file name set to filename and caption set to "Storm path"
  3. {{Storm path|filename|right}} uses a right-aligned thumbnail image with the file name set to filename and caption set to "Storm path".
  4. {{Storm path|filename|right|size}} uses a right-aligned thumbnail image with the file name set to filename, and size set to size and caption set to "Storm path".
  5. {{Storm path|filename|right|size|caption}} uses a right-aligned thumbnail image with the file name set to filename, and size set to size and caption set to caption.

To set the value for the alternative text, use |alt=description

Set colors=new to use the new colors approved in Wikipedia:WikiProject Weather/Color RfC for the map key. All new maps going forward should set this parameter.

Alternative usage[kulemba source]

  1. Use |align= to override the default alignment
  2. Use |size= to override the default image size
  3. Use |caption= to override the default caption

Using named parameters as described in this section in conjunction with unnamed parameters (as described in the Simple usage section above) may produce undesired results. Use only named or unnamed parameters.
