Template:Flaglinkteam/doc

Kufuma Wikipedia

The Flaglinkteam template is designed to provide links to the "Nation at Championships" style sub-articles on sports championships pages.

The template has four input fields:

{{Flaglinkteam|Country code|Edition|Athletes|Flag variant}}
  • The Country code is the three letter country code used to refer to the nation in international competitions (e.g. Afghanistan = AFG). A country's full name can be used instead of the three letter country code; in that case, the country code will not be displayed in parentheses after the link
  • The Edition field is mostly deprecated. Leaving this field intentionally blank will automatically use the current page name to create the championships nation link, which is encouraged to save time and space. Links to athletics championships can be manually populated by placing the year and level in this field, for example, "2013 World" will link to "2013 World Championships in Athletics".
  • The Athletes field is for when the template is used in participating nations sections. This will show the number of athletes the nation has entered in parentheses after the flag and country name
  • The Flag variant allows for when a country has changed their flag over the course of their competing at the athletics championships. For example, using "SFR" here with the country code YUG (Yugoslavia) will produce a flag and nation name for the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
