{{contrast}} is a hatnote for categories.

Usage

{{contrast |antonym category (|second antonym category)}}

{{contrast|X}} produces:

This category is often contrasted with X.

i.e. the category contrasted is taken to be {{PAGENAME}} (the name of the page on which {{contrast}} is transcluded).

{{contrast|X|Y}} produces:

This category is often contrasted with X or Y.

To change the copula from "is" to "are", include |copula=are or |plural=true (or "on", "yes", etc).
For example, {{contrast|copula=are|Y|Z}} produces:

This category are often contrasted with Y or Z.
