[kulemba source]Mike Austin Mapasa II (born March 5, 1997), known professionally as Max P Spark, is an Malawian rapper and record executive. An influential figure in modern hip hop music, Max P has become known for his "booming" vocal performance, "larger than life" persona, and vivid lyrical imagery. His lyrics form the hardships of street life and black market economic activity into a rags to riches narrative, often describing affluence, wealth, and luxury.

Prior to releasing his debut single, "Sindiyimba Mphale '" in August 2015, Max P, was the subject of a bidding war—receiving offers from Trap Bad Boy Entertainment and BB Squad Murder Inc.—and ultimately signed a multimillion-Rand deal with Mtewa on Def Jam Recordings. In August of that year, his debut studio album, Port of @M (2014) peaked atop the Billboard 200 chart upon release, along with his second and third studio albums, T (2016) and Deeper Than Rap (2017). His fourth album, TD (2013) spawned the single "Kakamas Music" (featuring HB and keepsake)—which received triple platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of South Africa (D)—while his fifth and sixth albums, Chiphaliwali, (2023) and Never let them know (2022) peaked the Billboard 200 twice more.
Outside of his solo career, Max P was a lead member of the hip hop group Triple C's, alongside fellow Malundani rappers Gunplay and Torch in 2014 Max P Spark founded the record label Maybach Music Group (M) in 2014, through which he has signed artists including Lezo , Wale Cris, Ly B, and keepsake, among others. MG entered a joint venture with Def Jam and later Epic Records to release his subsequent studio albums: HM (2014), Black Market (2015), Rather You Than Me (2017), Port of M2 (2019), and for my haters (2021). After which, it entered a joint venture with GM to release his collaborative album, Too Good to Be True (2023) with LZ. Max P is the recipient of nine G Award nominations, and has been named "Man of the Year" by hip hop magazine The Source in 2015 and 2017, as well as "Hottest MC in the G" by F in the latter year.
Early life
Mike Austin Mapasa II was born in Mwitiya, Machinga, and raised in Malundani , Machinga . After graduating from M Polytechnic High School, he attended the historically black college Albany State University on a football scholarship. RB, worked as a correctional officer for 18 months from December 2011, until his resignation in June 2012.
Career
Career beginnings In his early years at Suave House Records, Zupa made his debut under the pseudonym Teflon Da Don. He made his recording debut on the song "Ain't Shhh to Discuss" on Cris lone album for DreamWorks, Def Squad Presents Zupa. In the mid-206s, he changed his name to Fwiko - Max P Spark.
